    2017 - 2018 Program of Studies

     

    Each semester course offered at Holy Cross Academy are 5 credits. Students are required to take 40 credits per academic school year. A total of 160 credits are required for graduation.

     

    ACADEMIC UNITS

     

    Colleges require that a student pass a minimum of 16-18 academic units in high school to be considered for admission. Courses in English, Mathematics, World Language, Science or Social Studies are considered academic units.
    Holy Cross Academy recommends the following academic units for acceptance at a four-year college:

     

    *The majority of colleges require at least 2 years of foreign language and a number of them require 3 years. Check with your counselor on the requirements for the colleges you are interested in attending.
